The flavor from the spinach and pine nuts makes this salad so tasty! the speed with which wolfed it down made my mum proud. sparkle to eyes+8 Eggs Benedict w Ham - It surely is hard to find Eggs Ben in singapore, and this is the sole reason why i came to TWR in the first place. It surely didnt disappoint and it's as good as what a good hearty Eggs Ben should be. *i must say that the ham was a tad bit salty for me. satisfaction +9 Pancakes - SOOOO Pretty!! the prettiest, fluffiest pancakes ever presented to me. Fresh fruits, cream and the loveliest, yummiest and most aromatic honey I've tasted! endorphin+8 TWR Mac and Cheese- the is by far the most expensive Mac and Cheese ive ever eaten. BUT I've never ever eaten MnC with truffles. The flavor was interesting but not all too weird-out. Its a nice twist to good-ol Mac and cheese, so M&C lovers should try this out. *another interesting thing about this is that it left a gritty taste on my tongue after that, which is slightly unusual for me. Uniqueness +9 Grilled Salmon - Salmon was none too fishy, light and melt in your mouth. The sauce resembled some vinaigrette (lol sorry if i bastardized the very sophisticated sauce withmy lack of vocab) which i thought was a refreshing taste, paired with the salmon. approval +7 Pine and berry fruity drink. I Gave: 5.6 "Great place for bitching session with your girlfriends! each seating lasts 3 hours and and you always be on time, the minute the session starts. Tea lovers will be spoiled for choice here, and even if you are not just inni-mini-mynee-moh the selection, after all, if you dont like it, just get it changed. It a tea buffet you are paying for. I highly recommend the iced version of the tea, my favourite being "summer breeze" (i think thats wat its call) refreshing and thirst quenching! *warning: the drinks are not made consistently - sometimes they add too much orange sometimes proportions are just nice, so keep trying (i dont know why its like this, but i hope they are not being sloppy, i dont expect any less from Shang.) If you are there for food.. save your money for The Line downstairs, variety is not fantastic, though the mee siam is commendable.
