As I’m sure you’re aware, I love food that has an element of tradition and authenticity about it, and for these reasons I love Dragon City Sichuan Restaurant. The kitchen is helmed by the same chef who has been there for decades, and his expertise is what makes this restaurant – their specialities include fried shrimp with dried red chilli, hot and sour shark’s fin soup and smoked duck – all of which are delicately spiced and seasoned – yummy. A dish of tender sliced pork with garlic and sweet chilli was also particularly excellent – just the right touch of heat and sweetness. Given the intense heat of some the dishes, you might find yourself asking for second or third helpings of rice – so prepare an appetite.
