In this busy restaurant the atmosphere is much like that of a Greek tavern or Spanish Tapas bar, and the food — lots of it — is served by prompt and cheerful waiting staff. Everything is rough and ready, not refined exactly, but delicious nonetheless. The souvalki (Greek kebab) was properly made with Greek oregano and lemon zest, the lamb shank with cous cous and the rabo del toro (braised oxtail) were braised to melting, gelatinous succulence, and the paella Espanola was simply perfect, laden with pingingly fresh seafood. A huge serving of delicious house salad and a massive mixed meat platter was what finally stopped us in our tracks: in all, a meal here makes for a very fun experience! (Especially when the waiters do their nightly interpretation of the ancient Greek custom of plate breaking!)
