Here there is a compact a la carte menu offering Western and local standards, but the draw of this coffee house is definitely its daily buffet. To start with I went for some freshly shucked oysters and thinly sliced smoked salmon, and then proceeded on to the ‘live’ stations: 5 generous slices of pingingly fresh sashimi later, I moved on to some teppanyaki tuna and vegetables – all fresh and very delicious. The main dining area was a bit crowded when dinner got into full swing, so next time I would request a table in the foyer. Service is generally pleasant, albeit a little elusive when the pace picks up, and one of those ubiquitous chocolate fountains with strawberries to dip served to provide a decent dessert.
